The Teran route, named after the famous Istrian red wine, starts from the promenade in Rabac and leads you up the main road to Labin. There, on a 320m hill, a majestic old town full of charming Venetian buildings awaits you. Take a ride through the old town, peek into galleries, and check out the town’s churches. Follow G. Martinuzzi street to Fortica (lookout point), which offers a fantastic view of Rabac, the island of Cres, and Učka, the highest mountain in Istria. Coast back down to the old town and join the walking and cycling trail to Dubrova in the foothills. It will take you to a phenomenal sculpture park that has hosted the Mediterranean Sculptors’ Symposium every summer for over 40 years. You will continue on from Nedešćina along a wine route to Sveti Martin, where you simply must stop to sample Istrian wines in a real 18th century country palace. Continuing on through Snašići, Becići and Vinež to Labin, a ride through Ripenda will bring you back to Gornji Rabac and the lively seaside promenade.
